Fabrice Daniel has been Director of the Artificial Intelligence department of Lusis since its creation in 2017, having previously served as Director of the financial markets division from 2004 to 2017.

He founded the Data Science activity within Lusis in 2012 to address statistical data analysis and predictive modeling challenges in financial-markets projects. The Artificial Intelligence activity, born in 2017, grew out of that initiative.

He has been working on trading models, backtesting, and proprietary or investor-assisted trading since 1996. Within Lusis, he has carried out and led several research projects applying Machine Learning to payment fraud detection, music recommendation, and market prediction on behalf of investors. All of these works are in production and used by Lusis customers.
